Wilsons Gourds is a family-owned business that was established in 2003. We have been growing many various types of gourds, letting them cure and dry out and selling them both as natural dried gourds and also as unique decorative and functional gourd art pieces that can be used inside and outside the home.

We enjoy teaching gourd art workshops where the public may make their own decorative birdhouses, birdfeeders, and vases. The public may also take one of our primitive wood burning classes and use a 950 degree watt wood burning pen with the wedge tip to make unique designs on gourds of their choice. Folks may find us at historical heritage fairs talking about the uses and history of gourds, garden events inside the mall where we also do seminars and workshops, at farmers markets with our decorative and dried gourds, or at art festivals and fairs with our unique and unusual gourd art pieces throughout the Southern Illinois region.

Wilsons’ Gourds are proud members of  American Gourd Society.
