Wilsons Gourds first fish design by Paul B. Wilson and Karen Wilson – Paul B. Wilson constructed this fish design using gourd pieces he cut out for fins and glued and cut to fit. Then a 950 degree woodburning wedge type on a woodburning tool was used for woodburning the piece by Karen. After this Karen painted with metallics the eyes and mouth to bring out the design. Polyurethane was applied later by brush with two coats of finish.
