Hummingbird miniatures by Karen Wilson 2011 – Karen likes to paint colorful tropical looking hummingbirds on the pear, egg, and small round minatures. Hummingbirds are favorites of Wilsons Gourds customers.
Painted Tennessee Spinner Hummingbird Design by Paul B. Wilson 2011 – Paul B. Wilson also loves to paint bird designs on miniature gourds. Tennessee spinners are one of his favorite. Here is a beautiful hummingbird necklace to enjoy. Polyurethane finish is applied by brush to finish the piece. A beautiful bead necklace.
Miniature Gourd Designs- Keychains ornaments- Wilsons Gourds – Here are some of our minature gourd designs. You might see some bumblebees, American flags, strawberries, catsup bottles, and even red hat ladies. They are mostly mini bottles. Some folks like them as keychains, fan poles, and just as ornaments too. Fun items to make. All are painted with acrylics and polyurethane is the finish.

Miniature duck gourd ornaments 2011 – Karen Wilson painted these mallard miniature ornaments. She used acrylics and metallic paints. They look like small Mallard Ducks. Perfect for the nature lover’s Christmas tree.
Woodburned Tennessee spinner gourds 2011 by Paul B. Wilson – Paul enjoys woodburning with a wedge 950 degree tip woodburning tool on minature gourds to create bird designs like our larger birdhouses. He does a terrific job. All are treated with polyurethane finish brush on by hand two coats. One of a kind designs. A perfect bead for a necklace.
Miniature fish gourd by Paul B. Wilson 2011 Woodburned – This is a minature fish gourd that Paul B. Wilson woodburned with a 950 degree wedge tip with a woodburning tool. It turned out perfect. Great ornament for the fish folks.
Miniature frog design by Wilsons Gourds – We like to use a fat mini bottle to paint with acrylics and metallics our little frogs. They are fun to do and lots of folks love to collect frogs. – Here are a few of our necklace designs. We love to make minature cardinal necklaces and cardinal ornaments. We also try to do seasonal necklaces for Halloween and Christmas. We have some Chinese sayings designs and butterflies too. We also use shiny paints on some of our small Tennessee spinners to give them a Christmas shiny effect. All are fun to make.
Mini Bottle Bluebird and Butterfly by Wilsons Gourds 2011 – These are slightly larger mini gourds. The bluebird is painted with acrylics and is a mini bottle, the other gourd, a butterfly is also painted with acrylics. Wilsons gourds also does butterfly necklaces usually from the smaller Tennessee spinner gourds. All of our miniature items are treated with polyurethane indoor finish.
Tennessee Spinner Necklaces- Halloween and Spring 2011 Wilsons Gourds – These two necklaces are painted with acrylics and are the Tennessee Gourds we love to use for jewelry and key chains. Some folks are using them as fan pulls and ornaments too. We put our indoor/outdoor finish on them also.
