- Flowers and butterflies coiled bowl – This bowl is a woodburned hummingbird and flower design created by Karen Wilson. The bowl was then coiled to create an interesting design to enjoy. Polyurethane is used as the finish, hand brushed on with two coats.

- Another sunburst designed bowl by Paul B. Wilson – This bowl is woodburned and stained with red coiling and woven leather. It has two coats of indoor/outdoor polyurethane finish hand brushed on. It was done by Paul B. Wilson.
- Beautiful wood burned bottle gourd by Paul B. Wilson – This bottle gourd by Paul B. Wilson was woodburned with a 950 degree wedge tip on a woodburning tool. Two coats of polyurethane finish was applied with a brush for indoor/outdoor use. A beautiful bottle piece.
- Bushel Gourd church design by Karen Wilson – Karen Wilson obtained this church design from a church address book from Iuka Trinity Lutheran in Iuka, IL. She hand drew the church from the design on a gourd then proceded to use a 950 degree wedge tip to woodburn the entire church design and the Lutheran symbol on this bushed gourd. One of her church designs was given to Rev. Juhl past minister as a wedding gift to enjoy from one of the church members. A wonderful memory to enjoy!!!
- Other side of woodburned bushel gourd by Paul B. Wilson – Additional bird designs were woodburned into this extra large bushel gourd to create a beautiful effect. The entire piece was then made into a container to enjoy.
- Top lid view of hummingbird bushel container by Paul B. Wilson – This gourd had a heart like shape which made it fun and challenging to woodburn for Paul B. Wilson. The piece turned out beautiful and was a Christmas present for our friends The Millers. Their children are all hoping to inherit it one day.

- Cannonball jewelry boxes by Karen Wilson – These were fun jewelry boxes to make. Karen loves to woodburn roses and also hummingbirds and flowers. Paul B. Wilson helped to make them into jewelry box containers with beautiful wood knobs. What two wonderful gifts to give.
- Cannonball pansies and hummingbird woodburned design 2011 by Karen Wilson – This was a cannonball gourd that was made into a wren house that was woodburned by Karen Wilson. The pansies and hummingbird were fun to design on this gourd. Made a beautiful little wren house.
- Peacock stained bushel gourd by Paul B. Wilson – This peacock design was created by Paul B. Wilson . He used a 950 wedge tip on a wood burning tool to create this design. Stain was applied to make a more dramatic impression. Polyurethane finish was applied with brush two coats. A wonderful bushel gourd to enjoy.
- Cannonball type gourd roses and butterfly woodburned design by Paul B. Wilson – The beautiful butterflies are enjoying the roses on this cannonball piece designed by Paul B. Wilson. Paul brushed with two coats of polyurethane finish semigloss. A wonderful piece to enjoy.
- Cardinal Wood burned and Colored Pencil design – This cardinal martin gourd leaf design was by Karen Wilson. Karen woodburned the cardinal and leaves then colored the piece with colored pencils. A small amount of white acrylic was added to the cardinal’s eye. The entire martin gourd was hand brushed with indoor/outdoor polyurethane semigloss finish. A birdhouse for a wren was later constructed by Paul B. Wilson.
- 2010 Chip carved flower designed bowl by Paul B. Wilson – This woodburned, coiled, and dyed flower design is one of Karen’s favorites that husband Paul B. Wilson does. She loves the beautiful flower and how it is enhanced when Paul uses dyes or stains and match jute and leather for coiling. The whole bowl is a beautiful piece to enjoy.
- Chip Carved sunburst design bowl by Paul B. Wilson 2010 – This a stained, chip carved, coiled, and wood burned bowl by Paul B. Wilson. It is one of his unique bowl designs. All is finished with indoor/outdoor polyurethane finish hand brushed on two coats.
- Chip carved woodburned flower design by Paul B. Wilson – This piece was chip carved, stained, and wood burned to make a unique designed bowl. Polyurethane was used to finish the piece and was hand brushed on with two coats. A wonderful bowl to own.
- Colored Pencil and Woodburned Butterflies and Sunflower Wren Birdhouse by Karen Wilson – This is a unique woodburned and colored pencil technique on a gourd was created by Karen Wilson. The martin gourd was treated with an indoor / outdoor polyurethane hand brushed on finish two coats just ready for a little wren to live in. A wonderful wren birdhouse.
- Curvy long handle woodburned hummingbird design by Karen Wilson – Karen chose this hummingbird flower design to put on a curved long handle piece. A 950 degree wedge tip woodburning tool was used on the ball part of the gourd. Then the entire gourd was hand brushed with two coats of semigloss indoor/outdoor polyurethane finish. A masterpiece was created!!!!
- Fancy flower bowl by Karen Wilson – The top of the gourd was carved by Paul B. Wilson and Karen Wilson woodburned the top and the flower with a 950 degree wedge tip on a woodburning tool. Polyurethane was applied to the entire piece. A gorgeous bowl to enjoy.
- Fancy hummingbird and flowers design – This was an enjoyable flowers and hummingbird martin type gourd to woodburn. Polyurethane finish was applied. The gourd was made into a wren type birdhouse. This was designed by Karen Wilson.
- Fancy stained and wood burned tropical container by Paul B. Wilson – A beautiful wood burned and stained container done by Paul B. Wilson. The birds have many details on them plus the scenery in the background. This was all done on extra large gourd type. A wood knob was added. A wonderful design all finished by hand brushing on two coats of semigloss polyurethane indoor/outdoor finish.
- Fancy woodburned cats by Paul B. and Karen Wilson, Wilsons Gourds – We enjoyed the curve dipper gourds to create our woodburned cats. Both were made into wren birdhouses. Polyurethane indoor/outdoor finish was hand brushed on with two coats of this semigloss. A cat’s meow!
- Fancy woodburned hummingbird container by Paul B. Wilson – Paul B. Wilson used a 950 degree wedge tip with a woodburning tool to create this fancy hummingbird flower container. A wooden knob is attached and hinge back for enhancement of the container. Makes a unique gift. Can be sewing basket, jewelry box, etc. Treat just like a wooden bow. Inside and outside polyurethane finish is hand brushed on two coats.
- Geometric chip carved wood burned design bowl by Paul B. Wilson – Paul B. Wilson enjoys chip carving. This is one of his geometric designs he wood burned and chip carved on a bow. A polyurethane finish completes this piece.
- Geometric flower design by Paul b. Wilson – This piece is chip carved and woodburned to create a unique flower. The top of the gourd has a curved design to compliment the bowl. Polyurethane was hand brushed on with two coats for a finish to complete this design.
- Geometric star design by Paul B. Wilson – This geometric design is woodburned then chip carved to make an interesting and beautiful bow. The jute was dyed black and used for coiling with woven black leather. Polyurethane was hand brushed on as a finish with two coats.
- Goldfinch designed container by Paul B. Wilson – Goldfinch were woodburned on this martin gourd with fancy flowers to create a unique style on this gourd. Paul B. Wilson used a 950 degree wedge tip on a wood burning tool to create this piece. The piece was made into a container with polyurethane indoor/outdoor semigloss finish that was hand brushed on two coats. Makes a special gift for someone.
- Grapes and Hummingbirds by Paul B. Wilson – A beautiful hummingbirds grapevine container was created by Paul B. Wilson. The grapevine extends from top to bottom creating a uniform appearance with hummingbirds in the foreground. All the woodburned items were burnt with a 950 wedge tip on a woodburning tool. Then the gourd was cut to create a beautiful container to hold your valuables in. A polyurethane indoor/outdoor semigloss finish as hand brushed on both inside and out of the gourd. What a beautiful piece!!!!
- Halloween witch design woodburned container by Karen Wilson – This is one of Karen’s favorite Halloween designs to woodburn. She uses a stencil and encloses it to create a unique witch with bats around. The entire piece is coated with polyurethane indoor/outdoor semigloss finish. A fun design to do.
- Hummingbird and flower woodburned gourd – Paul B. Wilson made these feathery hummingbirds with a unique flower design to woodburn and create a wren house. Polyurethane finish as applied to it by brush with two coats.
- Hummingbird cannonball jewelry box by Paul B. Wilson – Paul incorporated this jewelry box hummingbird design on a cannonball gourd. A wood know was used to enhance the effect of the gourd. Some lucky gal will enjoy this jewelry box.
- Hummingbird Woodburned vase by Paul B. Wilson – This roses with hummingbird vase was designed by Paul B. Wilson. A jute coiled top was added. This makes a wonderful container for flowers, etc. All woodburned by hand. It will last indefinitely inside if taken good care of.
- Karen’s favorite design Roses and Hummingbird Wren Birdhouse – Karen Wilson used a martin gourd to woodburn her flowers and hummingbird design. Afterwards Paul B. Wilson created the wren birdhouse with a back door. A unique piece to make.
- 2nd Place Ribbon Hummingbird and Roses bowl by Paul B. Wilson at Clinton, IL 2008 Illinois State Gourd Convention Competition – What a thrill to win a second place ribbon for Paul B. Wilson. This is a gorgeous design he did of roses and hummingbirds. A unique bowl design.
- Nothing but a Woodburned Hound Dog – After woodburning some cats, Karen Wilson decided that a dog was in order. So here is the hound dog. It was made into a wren home. So could say in the dog house item.
- Pansies and Hummingbird Martin Gourd – Karen enjoyed once again woodburning the hummingbird and pansie piece wtih a 950 degree wedge tip with her woodburning tool. It was fun to do.
- Paul B. Wilson Wood burned bottle designs – Paul enjoyed doing many unique bottle, dipper, and cross gourd pieces of birds, native Americans, and dragon fly designs. Pieces were stained and dyed and painted for enhancement. Polyurethane finish was applied.
- Penn Dutch wood burned design by Karen Wilson – This is a curved dipper design in which a Penn Dutch sunflowers and bird design was completed on this gourd. Karen Wilson used a 950 wedge tip on a wood burning tool to create this piece. Polyurethane is hand brushed on with two coats.
- Western Ranch Bushel by Paul B. Wilson view 1 – This is a detailed bushel western ranch designed container by Paul B. Wilson. Lots of detail is observed by looking at this piece. It brings the thrill of the Old West. Polyurethane was used both inside and outside to make this a wonderful container with a fancy wood knob.
- Western Bushel container by Paul B. Wilson view 2 – Western Bushel container by Paul B. Wilson view 2 – This is the back of the Old Western look bushel gourd designed by Paul B. Wilson. The entire piece is woodburned and some of it is stained to create a more pleasing appearance on the gourd. This was an interesting and enjoyable piece to enjoy of the Old West.
- Roses galore bowl by Karen Wilson – Roses are fun to woodburn and Karen Wilson loves to use her 950 wedge tip on her woodburning tool to create them. Stain was applied to the top and the bottom of the gourd and polyurethane indoor and outdoor finish was hand brushed on the bowl both inside and outside. Enjoy the roses!!!
- Kingfisher wren birdhouse by Paul B. Wilson – This tobacco type box gourd was created by Paul B. Wilson. Kingfisher were burned on and a wren size hole was cut with drainage holes on the gourd to make a beautiful birdhouse. Semigloss indoor/outdoor polyurethane was hand brushed on two coats to make this a lasting piece.
- Side view of woodburned kingfisher gourd birdhouse by Paul B. Wilson – The kingfisher were wonderfully woodburned with a 950 degree wedge tip wood burning tool for this beautiful wren house by Paul B. Wilson. Polyurethane finish was applied. Welcome little wren!!!
- Stained, woodburned, and coiled rose bowl – This is one of our beautiful rose stained bowls. It was coiled with jute and laced with leather to make it a fascinating piece. Polyurethane finish was applied by hand two coats both inside and out.
- Twisted longhand hummingbird woodburned piece by Paul B. Wilson – Quite alot of detailed hummingbird designs are displayed on this twisted long handle gourd. Polyurethane finish was applied by brush with two coats. A cheerful piece to hang either inside or outside.
- White coiled chip carved sunburst designed bowl by Paul B. Wilson – This sunburst design was stained and dyed and wood burned by Paul B. Wilson. White jute was coiled with woven leather on top. The piece was then finished with hand brushing two coats of polyurethane semigloss indoor/outdoor finish.
- Wood burned and chip carved geometric sun and star design by Paul B. Wilson – This is a unique and lovely chip carved sun and star design by Paul b. Wilson. The piece is also woodburned and carved out on top. A beautiful bowl to enjoy. Polyurethane was brushed on with two coats for the finish.
- Wood burned and stained Hummingbird Bowl by Karen Wilson – Flowers and hummingbird design was fun to use to create this beautiful bowl.
- Wood burned dipper hummingbird and flower birdhouse by Karen Wilson – This is a fun design of a beautiful woodburned flower with a hummingbird designed by Karen Wilson with a 950 degree watt woodburned wedge tip attached to a wood burned tool. Polyurethane indoor/outdoor finish was brushed on with two coats. A lovely little wren birdhouse. Note that no birdhouses have perches due to bigger birds trying to invade the nests of smaller birds. Also all of Wilsons Gourds birdhouses have drainage holes on the bottom to keep the birds homes dry.
