English cottage birdhouse with gourd seed roof by Karen Wilson – This martin gourd cottage was designed by Karen Wilson. Karen used purple martin gourd seeds for the roof and then painted the cottage with acrylics. A wren size hole with a back door and drainage holes made it a perfect little home for a small bird.
